i have one lawn that i charge $22. really want to increase it to at east $24, but dont know how to approach it. there are two more lawns on the same street for which i get $25 & $30.

There was a really nice letter that someone wrote a while back in one of the other forums, but i have no idea what to search under.

It's a pita to raise prices. Maybe we could have a mad cow scare in lawn care and raise them like the cost of beef did,LOL.
When bidding a lawn mowing job I was never on to bid by measurements. I always just looked at it, and estimate the time it was going to take and worked by $40-$60 per man hour. Depending in how bad I wanted the job, neighbor hood ect. Does any one else do this, and is my range way off or in the game?

I hate the Doc's. I'd rather go to the clinic if I'm sick. Mt. Clemens General has a good one over near Jeremy (26 mile & VanDyke) Dr. Tom is probly the best one there to see. They get right to the problem, no bs like a general doc. If there not slamed In and out and I don't need to make an apointment weeks ahead. After you never plain to get sick

The denist, well most I know like to go to the Wayne State Dental School. It's alot cheeper, plus u have many doctors and hot students too

speaking of dental x-rays I finally have finished my 1 1/2 year overhaul on my teeth today. I got a tiny, and I mine tiny filling and they put my crown on today from my root canal. In 1 1/2-2 years I have had; 2 root canals, 9 fillings, 3 checkups, and 2 cleanings.

Nope, I don't smoke. It's from not flossing. And my teeth are perfectly straight, had braces approx 5 years ago.

If you really want to get technical in 5 years I have had; braces, 2 root canals, 11 fillings, 5 checkups (give or take some), 6 cleanings (give or take some), and removal of all my wisdom teeth ( I was actually put under for that one because two of my wisdom teeth were growing into my sinus cavatity area.

I think the total comes to approx $18 to $20,000+ in the last 5 years. And to top it all off, I don't have dental insurance.

troy, why didn't you buy dental insurance to cover all of these things? that's a lot of money.....i feel bad for you guys.

outdoor, i try to get about $50/hr....i am not very experienced, but i also try to estimate how long it would take me, not measure anymore. but honestly, unless the lot if huge, it's hard to give them a price over $30/cut. i think most people would have a heart attack - that's $120/month

my prediction is that this year as i get more clients, my prices would be between $18 (front only) to $28.

Troy, can you come this saturday to hang out with us?
