What does 10/1000 look like...

I figured it might help if everyone could see what 10/1000 looks like. THe pic is of a highland bent grass golf green so the grass is very short. THe reason i mention that is because if you apply the corn to a regular lawn cut at 3'' the stuff just diappears into the grass. THe other issue in my case is that the corn really screws up the putting with corn hazards everywhere .

As long as they stuff gets watered in it decays within a week or so. In a perfect world ground corn would be better for a green as it would not create corn hazards.

Anyway, this pic was taken apr 28.

What do ya know..it looks just like corn.

THe pail in the pic holds about 12 pounds of corn. I use the mesh on the right to remove the whole kernels. I have found that about 10% of the bag is whole kernels, these are the ones the wildlife(birds, squirrels) eat and they seem to not bother with the smaller bits.
