Opinions on new logo...
Hi all. The folks over at Gopher were kind enough to create a logo for the landscaping company I am forming. I wanted to post a picture of what it may look like on my trucks along with one that I had been working on as well. Your opinions are greatly appreciated as I need to make a decision soon so that I can start getting my identity kit and marketing collateral together. Thanks!

Both of them are really cluttered....by that I mean that there is a lot of information on that door. I'd consider taking some of it off. People usually have time to look at two things, the name and the number. I would maybe put my services offered on the side of the bed of the truck (along the top). I've seen that on trucks around here, and it looks real sharp.
I'd have to say that I like yours better. The one that Gopher did is pretty good, but the big green area (I'm assuming it is supposed to be grass) is HUGE. Way too big in my opinion. You should also try to put your phone number in green or black, and see how it looks. As it is it just looks kind of funny...to much like Christmas maybe!!!...It does stand out though, so if it looks terrible in green or black, maybe it would work. If it were me I think I'd do it in either green of black. Everything would flow better that way. Just my opinions!

The phone number stands out quite well (as it should) and orange mixed with green and blue is very nice. It looks modern. The grass that Gopher did does look slightly strange in this simulation BUT the placement of the text looks more "logo like" than yours. What may look good is to put the "The" as a smaller point size on the same line as "OtherSide". Also I cannot tell what the symbol is in your rendition: grass?...a shrub? Gopher's grass is a little large but the idea is very good I think and something similar or some cross between the 2 may be very effective.
