What's the best sprayer to get that will put a 5 gallon jug of product over an acre? We have a Gator to pull it.

all depends on what you are spraying and how much you are willing to spend. fmc makes a cracker jack 300 gallon stainless steel model with all the bells and whistles that will last about 100 years(i have two john bean sprayers with wooden tanks and hit and miss engines, that are coming up on 90 years right now--parts still available)the best bang for the buck will be found at your local lesco store, compact units, easy to work on, parts available, and hold up well. check your local golf course, since they are always looking to upgrade. always read the label of the product that you are spraying since 5 gallons per acre is a very low rate of anything--you have to careful of drift

Glad to see another Gator owner! A company called http://www.broyhill.com/ makes sprayers and other accessories for Gators.
