My local Gravely dealer is willing to sell me a 52 in/21 Kaw 04 model for $5800, that price beats all the competion in my area by nearly $1000. What would you guys do?

Thanks

Just bought a used 2003 Z160 with 16 hours for 5500. Can buy a Z160 new out the door in chicago for 6900.00 out the door. Your price sounds good to me and I have been pricing these things for a while.

Rod,

Thats a good price for the Ferris, but the Gravely I am referring to is a ZTR. My lazy a$$ is getting tired of chasin the walk behind around the yard, I wanna sit a while.

I really don't know what they are going for here. This was a fluke deal I fell into. I had just ordered a half dozen b/p blowers from this guy and he happen to ask me if I knew anybody in the market for a Z. That unit is a 2002, but still new in the crate. He just wanted to move it. Catch is it will cost about 500 to have it shipped.

FWIW, last spring I bought 2 Ferris 1000Z's (not the IS) with a 61 inch deck and a 23 hp kawi for $6100 each. At the time, I thought that was a pretty good deal btw...

you determine your own reasonable price, flash cash and if he doesnt take it, start walking out the door to the next guy. you work hard to get a new mower, never seem desperate to purchase or you will be taken.

Gravely 148Z riders have the 21 hp. Kaw engine.

The 152Z - 52 inch cut has a 23 hp Kaw engine for 2004.

The 2004 also has their new electronic maintenance minder system.

So what is this machine ? 21 hp/48 inch or a 23 hp/ 52 inch , Z 100 rider ? for $5800.
