Extended/crew cabs are nice at times, but we really don't need it. We require an 8' box, and by the time you add in a longer cab, it get's really long. And Dodge no longer makes a "quad cab", it's either crew cab or mega cab. Too long for us, so we went with a regular cab. Very easy to park!

I'll definitely have photos. Have 4 4"+ trees, and 6 others to plant at the same job as well. Should have some pics after this weekend if all goes well.

We liked the '08 cummins so much, we decided to get another. Just seems like a rock solid engine, tons of torque. They really shine after they are deleted.

The '08 Ford we were just too concerned to keep for long-term. The 6.4L powerstroke seemed to have issues. We had minor oil leaks that had been "fixed" but they kept coming back. There were other issues too that I won't get into, but we were not comfortable keeping it past the engine warranty. So we ditched it for another cummins.

This truck will be getting a plow hitch and provisions for "snow mode", but no intentions of running it full time. It will be a backup rig. It is a 6-speed manual, so it would be best to not have to use it for plowing.

Six speed, sweet! Has the auto in the 08 been any trouble, I've heard that alot of those issues have been resolved with the new motor.

The 68RFE in the '08 has caused us zero issues to date (knock on wood). We quite like it actually. Firm shifts, locks up early, good shifts points. We hated the Ford trans. It felt very loose, late shift points in t/h. Much happier with the Rams. Just my opinion though.

As for the lettering, we prefer our business to come from referrals. We have a much higher success rate with bids when we are referred by a customer. It seems as though when a potential customer inquires for a bid without being referred, it is unlikely to get the job. We very much hate giving bids, so this kind of reduces the amount of time we waste doing that. Might seem stupid, but it works for us. And it's just the two of us, we are somewhat selective on what we will take on.

As for the colors, I guess it just doesn't bother us. I suppose it would be more professional to "brand an image", and we've thought about "consolidating the colors". Maybe the GMC replacement will be white. We'll see.
