Irrigation advice

I have a really good customer that wants me to put in an irrigation system. I have some experience in real simple ones, but not a full yard. I have tried to tell him to find someone else, but he wants me to do it.

I know the basics, but I could use a little help. I don't know if I trust salespeople to advise me.

I would appriciate any help. I have looked at some software to help me lay it out and figure heads and pipe. Where do I start. If I could figure out head placement, brand name controller, and all I would feel alot better about it.

If i see the Rain Bird site correctly they will do a detail layout for free and provide a material list for it.

I have quite a bit of design experience in the irrigation industry. if this project is still open and you are interested, I would be willing to design the system for a small fee. The design would include a bill of materials and a pricing sheet. I could even supply you the merchandise if needed. Let me know.
