no staining pre-em for beds

Question, what pre-em are you using for annual grasses and broadleaf in mulch beds and landscape rock that does not stain the rocks or nearby sidewalks? Also, what do you use to maintain the rocks and beds later in the season that has good control and does not harm the ornamentals and shrubs?
thanks Bob

Here in n.j. I like to use Gallery+Barricade tank mix for a liquid over the top app in ornamental beds. It does not stain and works well. I make 2 applications prior to peak germination periods.....1 in april and 1 in august. Check the labels for possable sensitive plants. Expensive mix even at the lower rates.
