accelerator with mulching kit on?

Just wondering if anyone has used an accelerator while still having the mulching kit installed? Minus the discharge baffle of course. The less work I have to do on the deck the better (i.e. installing, uninstalling mulch kit)
BTW this is using a 7 iron 54" JD.

Lawn doc,
I have not discussed this with anyone, so I would also be interested to hear what some of our catcher users have done. The closest thing I can think of is that some people have used a gator blade (or 2) on the far side of the mower for partial mulching, with a regular blade at the closest point to the catcher. They seem to get good results. You might try something similar by trying to configure your mower to mulch farther from the catcher and propel the grass hard right next to the catcher.

Peter.

I have good luck running high-lifts on the bottom and Gators on the top. I donít use a mulching kit on my 54íí deck Hustler super walk-behind. It works great though!
