Shindaiwa 242 bogging out

I tore the carburator down cleaned the screen. Anyone else have this problem? Will start fine with the choke on. But if you take the home off it dies. Tryin to not take it in and save a couple of dollars. Help please

Depending how new it is it could be under warranty. I bought 2 last summer because my guys were crying about the 282s not working. Knew these would fail as well and they did with in 3 months. There is a reason I switched personally to the stihl rx100s and now that I have no more employees I no longer will need to by shins ever again.

You might get a better response in the 'Mechanic & Repair' section. Not trying to be rude. Just a suggestion.

Yea it's the exhaust. You can thank the ethanol in your fuel. The muffler could be clogged with carbon. Remove it and heat it with a torch.....brn the carbon off
