12 acre soccer field complex. Fall fert 34-3-8 with liquid app of trimec. I'm calculating $1,290.00 at 2.50 per thousand square feet. Most of my fert accounts are smaller than this so I wanted a price check. Thanks!

Dry granular fert 34-3-8, I have enough bags in the barn to do it. Haven't calculated how much N that is. That's the whole 12 acres. 43k sq ft in 1 acre X 12 = 516k sq ft X $2.50 = $1,290.00. Am I close?

34-3-8 at a cost of 10.00 per bag + -
@2.9 lb/1000 sf,cost= .58 cents per m
.58 times 43= 24.94/per ac.
24.94 /ac times 12 = 299.28 per 12 ac. (matt. only)

trimec= is it classic? whats the cost? (i don't wont to sound like a pickel but you need to be more clear)
classic=23.00/gal.
.18 cents/oz.
rate= 1.5 oz/1000 sf
cost=.27 cents /1000 sf
.27 times 43 = 11.61/ac
11.61 times 12 = 139.00 matt

total matt=438.28 or 1.18/m

are you going to apply the fert then spray the trimec?
i use a ride-on spreader/sprayer i need to find out the time it will take to do 12 ac. (never done anything that big in one application)

lazer can you help?

First of all, let me say that the amount of nitrogen is not needed here because the rate of product is given on the label rather than trying to use the active ingredient. 50lbs. covers 17,000 sq ft and on the herbicide I am using Trimec Bentgrass formula because I have quiet a few jugs in stock. I will be applying 1 oz per m. I realize this is a weak formula but it's frosting every morning and hey, you know.
Essentially, I'll need 30 bags @ approx 12.00 = 360.00 + 4 jugs of Trimec @ 23.00 = 92.00 and it will take me a couple of days to do it. $452.00 + gasoline + about 10 hours (estimating) is the cost but I've been using 2.50 per m on pricing smaller jobs, what does everyone else charge?
I guess I'm saying forget clarity and what I'm paying for fert, if you were my competition, what would "you" charge to be competitive based on your costs where you live?

This site would take us 5 hours or so to perform.

My material cost would be: $325 or so. $1305 is a pretty decent price. (2.50 sq. ft.)

Liquid app $900. for $2100 total

Done over a two day period spray until the wind picks up then spread fert the rest of the days.

Well you can rest assured this will be the last time I provide any pricing info in this forum.

You don't even get a thank you from the SOB who asks the question.

Next time go pound sand Osc.
