Asphalt Parking Lot Repairs

Hi Guys,

I do exterior maintance on a strip center which has several pot holes both singularly and in groups. Once the areas have been marked and saw cut, I'll have approx 1000 s.f. to rework. I'll be renting all the necessary equipment to do the job, and will be using dense grade, and hot mix to repair the holes.

What is the going rate for repairs of this nature? And, how thick should the blacktop be applied over the gravel? My guess is two to three inches.

I'm obviously new to blacktop repair so any help would be appreciated.

Depending on how thick the exsisting asphalt is around the holes
for comercial might be alittle more than 3" usually they put a sub base first then top coat u wont know that until the area is cut and removed! but 1000 sq ft would be around 10 ton of asphalt general rule is about 100 sq ft per ton at 3'' and in nj we pay $35.00 per ton ck with quarry and total about $2.00 per sq ft just to lay it down lets driveway ect. labor and material but since their is cutting involved u charge for your time!!!

Hope this helps
