48 Lesco Wb 15 Kaw Surges At Low Rpm

PROBLEM JUST STARTED, CALLED LESCO DEALER, HE SAID TO CHANGE FUEL FILTER, DID THAT, STILL SURGES AT LOW RPM. NEXT MAYBE EXTERNAL VACUUM FUEL PUMP? HELP.

Rick,

Could be a couple fuel related things. Did you leave gas in the tank and carb. over the winter? Did the gas have any kind of stabilizer in it? If you did, and didn't have stabilizer, some varnish could have developed in the carb. There a additives that will help clean it out if that is the case.

I HAVE BEEN USING SEVERAL TIMES PER WEEK TO MULCH LEAVES.STARTED LIKE A WEEK AGO. EASY TO START, PLENTY OF POWER AT WOT.
