blowers

has anyone noticed how similar the john deere bp-40 blower and the husqvarna bf 145 blower are?

the john deere dealer near here told me he didn't know anything about it, and the husq dealer told me they are not the same. what a bunch of b.s. they are almost exactly the same. every single part.

I have never really looked at them side by side, but I did notice that they are similar (don't think they are exactly the same though).

My two deere BP60's looks to have the same engine (kawasaki 59.2?cc) and similar blower housing to the huskys, but the tube/control is a little different, as are a few other things. What does it matter though?

If anybody has a pic of a husqvarna BP blower, post it and we'll compare Here's mine...

Do you really think John Deere makes its own small equipment. They are just like Lesco or sears for that matter. They have somebody else make them and just have the J.D. name put on it.

I might be wrong but i thought kawasaki made their trimmers and blowers. I know john deere took over homelite, so who knows they could be makin the stuff.

best one i could find.......

Only thing different i see is there are some slight engine guard differences. Even the trigger assembly is the exact same.
