Scag cub hints????

Any guys know of any hints for running a 61" 25 hp kawi?? Blade setups, etc just any hints past the basics of mowing with a zero turn. And do you guys always choke your 25 hp kawi every time starting up.Today it was over 70 and I had to choke it every time I started it.Maybe its just the engine.

That is just normal for the Kawasaki, sometimes even in the summer if they cool down during lunch we have to choke ours at the first accounts after lunch.

I use Exmark Highlift blades on my Cub. It works well with Doubles. I find Gators a terrible blade for this machine. I don't need to choke mine except first start in the morning, and after lunch on occasion. Just get lot's of practice...you will enjoy it.

Buy a couple extra belts. Especially the drive belt for the hydro's, when it goes, you will be happy you had a spare.
