I can only tell you about the 2003 Hustler z that I have. I have never used a Exmark.
I bought it in July and have put 150 hours on it so far. It has the 24hp Honda and 60" deck. The deck cuts extremely well and clogs very little in tall wet grass. Not many slopes here but one yard has a long steep slope that goes down to a river and the Hustler holds that slope extemely well cutting side to side. The power seems good since there has never been a situation of bogging down even when pulling a Lesco core aerator 48" with 160 lbs of weight on it. The mower is very fast at 11mph, the super Z goes 15mph. The hydros are very strong as I mentioned before pulling the aerator which weighs about 200 lbs and with the added weight. The parking brake is excellent, and is set when you push the steering levers outward to dismount. It has a foot assisted deck lift and height adjustment. The unit weighs 1100 lbs and with the 12" wide rear tires and wide front tires never leaves much of a footprint on the lawns. It hold 12 gallons of gas so you don't have to fill up all day long. The Honda seems better on fuel than the kohlers I've had in the past. It has a Donaldson air filter that sits high above the engine on a bracket that arches across the motor almost like a wing. I installed a Qwikchute over the discharge chute that is operated by hand and works great. Well worth the money. The only reason I would deviate from the Hustler ZTR's is if I went to diesel since they do not offer one on their ZTRs.
To sum it all up, great mower, very pleased and would definitely buy another.

We love our 4600 rangewing and the 3200's are awsome. Kubota diesel motors are great for power and they dont burn that much fuel. They are great machines. Just my two cents

Thankyou, It should be completely finished by the end of April. Going to add some more pics that were taken over the course of last summer and this winter and also take a few things out. Thankyou again.

Four of the properties that we maintain have recieved either "most improved Landscape" or "most beautiful landscape" these were from either the chamber of commerace or the town commitees, two were convelesent homes, one a trash to energy plant, and the other a local hospital.
