What are you trying to accomplish by this rule? This means that half of the posts on this forum should be pulled. People comment all the time on stuff they do not own.

How can you comment on a product with no expierience with that product? How would you know Roy's blades are overpriced, Meg Mo blades saved me alot of time last fall mulching leaves and that equals more money in my pocket. Oh the rules also keeps people froming making coments like" stop blowing your own horn".

Sean will have to reply about the rule.... rules/guidelines are not my forte.

Half of the posts on this forum? That's over 305,000 posts.

Personally... not speaking for other admin ... I only 'police' threads/posts I notice ... usually ones that stand out somehow and catch my attention.

Bottom line.....Meg mo has a place in the industry. Does it warrant the responses given in this thread? I think not..

Meg Mo is a sponser, an will post, an add comments as he sees fit. He is paying to do so.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Its a little different though when you are paying to give them!

This thread is not worth the arguments that are bein written by Sean, chuck, or Doc.......I really dont think it was intended this way....Let it go!!!!!!

Let the opinions go, an the members will sort out the opinions....whether good or bad. Thats what we are here for. Sean, an chuck, if Doc is right or wrong, its not worth your aggrevation....He has stated his opinion, an you are adding fuel to the fire. Let it play out, an I bet Meg Mo an others will answer for themselves......

If you feel things are getting out of hand, then you can step in a delete as you see fit....

Who's paying to give their opinion?

Right, so what was the point of your post again?

Nobody is saying that its "broke" but sometimes there is a better way or better product. I'm always looking for ways to decrease my time.

Respectively, [/B]
First, I still stand by not starting to allow testimonials by sponsors. We disagree, that's fine. However, since you opened the can of worms, I will gladly send you the website that proves the statement by Megmo that their blades are "self-balancing" is totally wrong. Furthermore, if you guy's can't understanding a simple physics law, that's not my fault. However, when a manufacture offers a product and doesn't understand "how his own product works", that just a shame.........

DLCS........ I know you are an avid fan of meg mo's...

To answer your post, an quoting me,.....Meg Mo pays for thier opinions...To me it is an opinion, to some others it may be fact, like you for instance...

I have defended Meg Mo in this thread. I have incouraged constuctive criticism, CNYScapes gave an opinion, though it might not have been in good taste, an maybe reworded a little different, he was immediately attacked by the moderators.

Did it warrant the replies? Probably not. Guys like you, John, an the sponsers can answer thier own questions without the threats of the moderators. The moderators should have probably monitored the thread, an if they saw it getting out of hand, simply sent an email or a private message stating that the rules were being broken.

If a sponsor gets on here an starts a thread on his product, of course out of thousands of members, someone is going to get on here an try an slap him down. I am saying let the members on here, the ones that have used these products, get on here an slap back. The moderators shouldn't be threating other members in a public forum, whether it be right or wrong. Let the members do it for them.

This thread for example...It was a matter of time before DLCS, an John got on here an started slappin back, cause they have used the product. Whether it be right or wrong, this forum is built on nothing but opinions....Let them play out, an let the members sort out the BS....If it starts getting out of hand, by all means contact any individual who is bein a PITA, just dont do it on the boards........

Pete,

Why do you constantly have to "prove something"? You do this to sponsors and members alike.

This statement didnt ruin the original thread.....you did! For you to move this to the support forum with the title you gave it, was out of order.. You should have sent him a pm, or a email to CNYScapes.

I agree with him, the blades are over priced. I would have been a little more tackful, but the fact remains, there were plenty of people in this thead to support meg mo without your intervention.. Start leaving well enough alone, an let the sponsers an the members speak for themselves, an quit bein the little caretaker for them......

You should really explain to a member about being banned in a PM, not in a thread.....

Be moderators an not the sponsors nanny...
