Purging Hydro on Simplicity Regent

After changing the oil in the hydro trans ,it doesn't want to work.Manual says it may need to be purged if it doesn't do right.Can someone please tell me how to purge it.

The manual should say how to purge it. If not contact a dealer. Is there an external filter?

My owners manual dosn't say how,just that if it dosen't respond or makes a noise, it may need to be done.No,there is no external filter,just the screen filter inside the filler cap under the spring,which I removed and cleaned and replaced as per the instructions in the manual.It probably is in the service manual,but no got one.New local dealer said he didn't know either but would try and find out.

Did you fill the Hydro filter with fluid before installing?

Jack the drive wheels up off of the ground and then turn the wheels 1-2 revolutions by hand. Then start it up and it shoud work.
