Sensation push mower wheels ??

How do you measure wheels, I mean ? OK.. The wheels on my mower are shot , bearings and all, so I want to get new ones.. So I measure them and they are 7 1/2" high, so I go looking for new ones, they all are listed at 8" ?? Is that right , WOuld the 8 " wheel be OK to use or does that 8" wheel actually measure 7.5" ?? and does anyone know if the wheel s on a bobcat version are the same ?? cause those are the only ones I have found ?? Thanks..

Never mind I figured it out.... There was a little left on one of the tires that I could make out and it says 8" , but the wheel measures 7.5" ?????? So I just ordered new 8" ones..... Cant imagine they wore down that much , but it is a 30 something year old lawn mower with the original wheels on it ...

Just got the new wheels from J thomas and they are pretty much the same size, guess they just measure them funny ??? Nice wheels though, have ball bearings and serk fittings, never had those on a push mower before.
