mulch price..just curious

Mulch costs me $25 per yard. I need 30 yards for the job...so my materials cost is $750. There is about 3 hours of edging and bed prep. What do you charge for mulch and labor?

The I will tell you what some clown said they will do it for for one of my clients.

$60/hr x3 man hrs.= $180
30yards @ $75/yd =$2250
Total =around $2430, plus consider layout(hills, ect.), and if you have to haul anything away.

I'm in SE Washington state. This is what my bid would look like:
Mulch-$60/yd=$1800
3 Hrs x $35=$105

Total Cost=$1905


If it were a job in my area I could be much cheaper though because I get my mulch for $15/yd.

dmk, thats nothing i had one where I bidded $900 ( small job ) and the other company bidded $400. The mulch costed $325

HERE WE PAY$ 26 A YARD WE CHARGE $80 A YARD IF IT NEEDS EDGING WE CHARGE $100 PER YARD MULCH & LABOR
