Ferris Hydrowalk SD

Looking into this unit with the transaxle. Wondering if anyone has used this and their opinions.

Is the Quick 36 built similar to this unit with the transaxle?

I just bought a Ferris 36" SD and I love it. I have only used hydro mowers with 2 pumps. This is the first one I have operated that you can't make one wheel reverse and the other one forward. From what people have told me this is a good step from belt mowers.

It works like a charm but it was a little awkward getting use to turning around to line up a stripe. It is a great mower and I'll use it until it dies.

I bought a 2001 Ferris 36" SD and a 2000 Ferris 52" at the end of this Febuary from a guy who was getting out of the business. He was doing the lawns on the side after work. The 36" has less than 50 hrs. on it and looks like it just came off the show room floor. The 52" is in awesome condition too, it was his main mower.

I paid for the both of them $4,500.00 It was a steal, really nice guy too. he gave me 7 extra oil filters, 5 new spark plugs, 11 spare blades, and 3 air filters too. They run like new.
