need suggestions for lawn treatment

I just found your site and I'm hoping I can get the help I need.
We just built a house and have 14,000 sf of St. Augustine that my husband and I installed a few months ago. It's doing fine right now except for a few weeds. I want to keep it looking and growing good. We want to do this naturally instead of dumping a load of chemicals on it. I personally would like to keep my drinking water free of pesticides and such.

If anyone here can suggest a "plan" for me to follow until I get familiar enough with this to have an idea of what I'm doing. Or atleast get me started in the right direction, like a list of things to buy and first things to do. Perhaps a list of things NOT TO DO.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

BTW I'm in Central Florida in case it matters for the lawn
