Sealing driveway - materials?
I'm going to be sealing my 1yr old driveway.
Questions:
Oil based vs. water based? Which will last longer? Benefits/Cons or Oil based vs. water based
Never been sealed, will 5 gal cover 750SF?
How much is a 5 gal container? I've been quoted $250 before to do my driveway in the past.
What are your lessons learned to ensure a good job, i.e. prep work. I plan on sweeping off driveway first and will seal coat when we are expecting a 48 "no-rain" window.
Thanks
Rob

Peace,

Sorry, I can't help you. I'm a paver installer.
Peace,
Rex

I figured that driveway sealing would be a good way for grounds professionals to fill-in otherwise slow, in some cases, Monday's and Tuesday's. Therefore, was expecting lots of responses.
Does anyone know of another board which may have these answers.
Thanks
