Thomas Skidsteers??

Anyone running THOMAS skidsteers, looking at a Thomas 153 for light landscaping, snow removal. Great Warranty 3years full machine warranty and 5 years main frame warranty. Looks like a go ahead purchase for me unless I get told straight by naysayers out there....Any Comments?

Seems like they are damned strong machines. Dealer network may be difficult to gain access to; Thomas isn't exactly your Starbucks of skid steers.

Also, check out operator comfort. The machine doesn't seem to have a lot of padding or insulation and seems like it'll rattle the operator to death. Just observations, though, before you buy -- I haven't actually run a Thomas.

How is your local dealer support?

John Allin, a member here, has about 15 of the Thomas skidsteers. Maybe you could send him a PM.

Peace,

Rex
