How/Why I got back into this business

I remember when I was a kid and mowed lawns for all the older people in our church. And how it felt to see the job done and how much better it looked when I was finished. Now I was working for a Grocery retailer and this june would have been 17 years. I was stuck, and not going to be promoted any more (to much expressing opinion when asked) and looking to buy a business. My wife's uncle heard about this and offered his business if I worked his accounts (4) for the rest of the year, last April thru October, for free. Done deal! He took me out and we worked his accounts together twice and then let me go free. May I stepped down from my manager position and took a closing hourly clerk position at another store. I started handing out some homemade door hangers in the areas where I was mowing and got 10 customers of my own. This year I sent out a direct mail advertising and the response was great. Now I only have 2 days left at what was my full time job and I can get back to doing what I love to do!
