when you guys say 10w-30 are you using oil made for lawnmowers or oil that you put in your trucks.kind of a dumb question but jsut maknig sure dont want to break my new gravely.

Not really all the same. They do make oil designed for small air cooled motors.

the american petroleum institute uses a two letter class identifcation. vehicle type, and quality level. ratings that begin with "s" are for ALL gas engines. if it begines with "c" it is for diesel engines. the second letter designates the quality level of the oil the higher the letter the better the oil an "sj" oil can be used in any gas engine that requires sb,sg,sh, ect.
