Stihl FS85 line trimmer question.

Hi, I have an FS85 trimmer with the supercut 20-2 automatic line feed head, I was wondering if anyone here can explain to me how this head works, how does it decide when to send more line out?

Im not really sure I was wondering the same thing but I think it uses cintrifical force and weights or something

i think tapping the ground when u need some line is nice though...
