Weed-G-Gone with Dish washing soap?

A local lesco rep mentioned to me that I can mix dish washing liquid with the weed-b-gone then apply across the lawn. Does such a brew really work? What are the benefits of this mixture? Thanks!

the soap will act as a 'sticker' and help distribute the product over the leaf surface.

many years ago, when i worked for the large national company, we would put small peices of ivory soap into our hand-cans

dont over do the soap or you'll end up with suds...very small amount, maybe a tablespoon

surfactant

I know that a surfactant reduces the surface tension of water.

Dish washing detergent is a surfactant.

I should have bought MSMA plus....instead, got my MSMA from Lesco....

MSMA plus has the surfactant installed in the product...

How much dish washing liquid should I add to a 30 gallon tank?

A commercial spreader sticker is infinitely more effective than dishwashing soap.

I usually conjure up my own batch of weed killer that has a high pH level. Dishwashing soap is part of it. The results have been highly beneficial as well as very cheap. I use it around my own property due to the fact that I do not possess a license to apply herbicides or pesticides.
