landscape liscence or not?

do i need a landscape liscence to mulch and trimm shrubs, im in alabama and when i bought busines liscence they told i couldnt trim shrubs or mulch.....that seems a liitle crazy i think...any suggestions?

You can trim shrubs and add mulch.Most of these folks don't know what they're talking about.
You CAN'T perform tree surgery,like grafting.You CAN'T plant anything,even a seed,without your SLP certification though.
