John Deere 737

I have a John Deere 737 wondering if anyone has used a accelerator, and how it works on this model, can you use it when the grass is wet? Any help would be great.

Steely,
You might want to post your question on the general forum, you may get a few more people to post. We have sold a modest number of catchers for the Deere 7 iron decks, so hopefully you will get some response. You might want to run a search with "Deere" and "Accelerator".

Steely,

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I have a 717 with a accelerator on it. works like a champ. Peter and I talked about the fact that you have to remove the shoot and install the holder for the bag. I was pretty concerned about this at first but have found with a ratcheting 1/2 box end wrench and a standard 1/2 inch wrench it takes about 90 seconds to change. I don't use the "E" clamp on the shoot anymore I just wrap a little duct tape around the end of the shaft.

Blakenship, thanks for the great closeup pic of mod. I need to do this to mine where it will be more flush, even though it works good now.
