Fertilizer Applications

How much do you guys charge to apply fertilizers on lawns?

ie) 29-3-4 ??

I've never done a fertilizer app, and I'm just curious?

How many times do you guys do it in 1 year?

When do you do it? when it's rainy, cloudy?

After fert app, do you maintain a weekly cut?

Thanks..

I usually take the numbers ( 29-3-4 ) and add them together, then take that number ( 46 ) and divide by 6 ( 7.6 ) then times that number by the sq ft example 12k 7.6 x 12 = $91.00

hey James, you been overcharging your accounts. you see when you add 29-3-4 it comes to 36....not 46

we use a simular process to come up with our rates, but we only use fert analysis of 34-5-12 because when you add those numbers it comes to 51

Now Alpine...in case you aint figured it out yet...we're just pullin your leg.
been many many many post on what to charge for a fertilizer application....you might want to do a search...or instead of wasting time searching this site for the answer, sit down with your calculator and figure out ALL YOUR COST involved in doing business, then figure out what you NEED to earn, then figure out what you'd LIKE to earn, blah blah blah

you got to know your cost of being in business

I charge .004 / sq ft / chem or fert.

Meaning if I fertilize and spray momentum, it's .008 / sq. ft.

If I just fertilize, it's .004 / sq ft.

If I did James' first round, it'd be .012 / sq ft, or 12,000 sq ft would be $144.

Alpine

Be sure to convert to Canada curency. That means you should charge $ 4093.00 per apply to be equal to $ 99.00 American.
