mulch it

When giving a mulch bid on commercial properties, do you just figure you are going to re-edge the beds, or do you give an estimate just for mulch and add in for edging,, or break them apart, so they can see the difference? or d oyou guys have a total package deal for some commercial properties? please let me know,, imma rookie...

Next time, post this is in the Maint. portion of Commercial Landscaping. It depends, sometimes the beds don't need to be edged. But I don't think it matters if you list it or not. If they need to be edged, and the customer wants to pay for it, does it really matter how it's typed out if you get the money?

I give a total price for the job. Before pricing, I ask the customer if they want the beds re-edged. Then, I price the job accordingly. Typically, I just add $5-10 per yard of mulch extra for edging when I figure up the price. Exact amount depends on current condition of edging.
