Debris collector for 9000?

Can you put a debris collector on the 9000 model or is this just an accessory for the 8000? This is the only thing holding me back from buying one. I have no need for the 8000 as I never use wavy blades. Also how does the sharpener work on the new "fusion" blades oregon has come out with? Thanks Jason

Hello,

Take a peek at the new instruction manual for the latest pictures of the MAG-9000. The MAG-9000 comes standard with a vac attach grit guard just like the MAG-8000. That was made standard last season.

Keep in mind all blades must be in a general hardness range to meet safety requirements. If a blade is hardened it would shatter when hitting a rock. Lawn mower blades are generally austempered, which is an increase in toughness or ductility. So in other words, slightly tougher blades will use slightly more of the wheel. Also keep in mind we do carry a range of wheels if the user feels he would like a softer or harder wheel.

Thank you,
