how much grass can 2 60" z's do in a day

I like 3 man crews, especially on our size lots, with a 72 and a 60 running, the trimmer is just getting done, or done already.

Ive gotten alot of work when my customers yards look better then someone else's. People know Quality when they see it and they respond to it. I keep customers because of Quality work even when i raise my prices. When i sold out a year and a half ago my former customers noticed a big difference in service and the appearance of the yards. I know when i advertise next year i will get back most if not all the accounts. The other company is having great difficulty keeping the customers happy and the contracts are up in the spring of 05.LOLOLOLOL

I could say the same thing about my Walker.

I have got several accounts from just the way the lawn looks after the Walker has cut it, compared to the way Exmark cut on one lawn and Scag on the other lawn.

It's all about being in the right place at the right time. Equipment has very little to do with it....................generally speaking.

Both the other lawn companies do not take care of their equipment.........AT ALL. Where I'm really anal about regular maintenance, keeping blades sharp, keeping proper pressure in my tires etc.

All this does contribute to a nicer cut.

I said YARDS not lawns. The over all apperence of mulch beds, Bushes, walkways.
I take care to and dont run around at 10mph with mowers.

Me too, I believe they look better at a slower speed, straighter, all the grass cut, I don't care that my cubs go 10.2 mph, thats great to get back to the trailer. Also I don't have but maybe 2 lawns I could go full bore, if I chose to.

Overall appearance of the total property is what I provide and it is what gets me most of my work. General debris pick up and trimming are very important to my crew so no one sits and waits but I only run 2 man crews now because my jobs work best at that size. I have a new contract in the works that is about 22 hours a week so I will run a 3 man on that day to get it done in one day. Fit the crew to the job.
