value of a 52" used snapper

I am looking into buying a 1999 52" snapper walkbehind. The mower and engine have about 600 hours on it. It is a fixed deck with a hydro drive and 17hp engine. The seller is including a sulky and a trac-vac system. He wants $2300 for it. Is this a good deal? How many hours does a typical engine last? Attached is a photo.

Thanks-
Nate

As long as everythings working properly, that's a pretty good deal.
The trac-vac alone is worth quite a bit. A new sulky is over $300 for that type.

I have the same exact mower. I paid $2800 for mine, but for just the mower alone, no extras.
However it had zero hours on it, had never been used.

Cuts great! I need to get a sulky for mine.

If all is working correctly, I'd say jump on it. Of course it never hurts to ask if he can do any better on the price ;-)

Let us know if you get it.
