Old Lawnboy

I came across an old Lawnboy 18" in someone's garbage today, so I grabbed it. It actually is in great shape, it looks like it's been sitting a long time. I'd like to get this thing running to use around my house. I'd also be interested to know how old it is. The model number says either C-12 or G-12, and the serial number is 1377297. I would have to say it is from the early 60's. I did a search earlier without much luck. I would greatly appreciate any info, thanks.

Thank you viperman. I went out and cleaned the machine a little more last night and found another number stamped on the deck-5000. The c-12 is the model # for the engine. I used your link and that said the machine was built in 1956. Pretty good shape for an almost 50 year old mower.
