Great Dane 52" Super Surfer parts

I am lucky to be the owner of a 52" Super Surfer (newer version) about 6 years old. Was one of the first produced as it was the source of many recalls to fix failed parts. Anyways, I go to the dealer that sold me the unit to get some replacement parts. He tells me that since it is owned by John Deere now he can't get me parts. Has anyone out there found a good source of parts that I can order online? Right now looking at mainly belts and pulleys and other routine maintenance items. I've tried the John Deere website and don't see any mention of Great Dane.

JD online

go here. You have to register to access site.

http://jdparts.deere.com/enroll/

Good luck with Great Dane. I have a discontinued model and JD parts online does list the part I looked up but is says they have none in stock and non instock worldwide.

Please let me know how you make out. I want to see if Dane/JD supports their older models or just dumps em.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already tried that site and have not found any help with parts. I am currently making my rounds of John Deere dealers in the area. Belts are not that big a concern for me to replace. I have used Scag pulleys in the past. What I'm worried about is in a pinch not being able to find replacement parts and not having the time to look for parts I can modify to work. It's a shame that there are all those Great Dane machines out there with no source of parts to support them.
