cu yd of mulch

i am try to determine the amount of mulch in a cu yd. is there really an advantage in buy bulk or buy the bag. The price for red mulch in my area is 22.00 cu yd or 2.69 per 2 cu ft bag

There are 27 c.u.ft to 1 c.u yd. That's 13 1/2 bags at 2.69 you do the math.

well it is nice to recieve the help from some of the members here. I do 100 accounts a week and dont do installation and i have been in business for 8 years. The only reason i am considering doing the mulch job is it is a great account

Red mulch is too expensive and shows up everything.
It only looks clean freshly installed.
