hay/sawdust/horse manure-for compost?

I have a horse farm near me and I can get free used horse bedding. The bedding contains hay and sawdust. Will this be a good mixture, as is, for composting? How long will it need to compost?

Sawdust and hay make good additives to manure. Is there some manure in there somewhere?

It needs to compost until it smells fantastic through and through. I would guess between 5 months and a year. I can put you in touch with someone who does this as a sideline and has found ways to accelerate the process. Write to me for his address.
