conversion tables for mulch installation

to change square feet to cubic yards.
what is the conversion formula to use?
what am I missing here?

volume= length x witdth x height

area= length x width

volume= area x height

[say converting 3200 square feet 3 to 4 inches deep into cubic yards] Thanks ahead of time.

volume in cubic yards= length x width x depth

Then divide that number by 324

See the sticky at the top of the maintenance forum (this forum). It's all explained there.

It's really a simple calculation, especially after you've done it a few times.
