what to charge
We did a lot of weeding for a regular customer and cut up a large tree limb that came down from a Storm. Myself and 3 of my workers were there for 4 hours, and had filled the dump truck.
I usually charge $ a man hr. + dumping, but $480 + dump fee seems a Little high for weeding and removing a tree limb . Whats you though |

I'd be hard pressed to charge $30/hr for pulling weeds.
Just my opinion. |

Just pulling weeds...
I'm charging $20-30 per man hour just to pull weeds. But, I have the time to do it.

dvmcmrhp52, I know exactly how you feel. Charging $30 an hour seems high for plucking weeds, but at the same time you have be honest with yourself and consider what your time and what your 'professional' work is worth.
More than once I've told people that they could probably find some school kids to pull their weeds for less, but I have also explained to them the difference between hiring kids and professionals. Hollywood, if your clients know you as being professional, and as being hard working, then I wouldn't lower my standard.

i charge full rate for weed pulling.
it is the job everyone hates the most. i had a job where wh had to move 36 tond of 4" rock by hand and wheelbarrow 175' and spread under a building. i had an employee bed me to let him go to hual the rock instead of him doing the weed pulling i had him scheduled for that day |
