Trailer hinges

I found a 7x10 open trailer without a gate but it has 3 foot sides with expanded metal on it ($200). I'm going to put a rear 5 foot gate and a 5 foot side gate on it. I was trying to figure an easy way to hinge the gates. I thought about welding 1 1\2 pipe to the ends of the gates and welding pieces of steel cut like a u bolt for the pivot point of the trailer gate. I have bent a couple of hinge pins and had a heck of a time getting them out before is why I'm thinking of this idea. Do you have a better idea than this. It would take no lining up and one man could take it on and off (hauling brush and such). What do you guys think?

I have made my own in the past. You should be able to buy some from a fab. Get the one's with grease fitting in them.
