uneven cut

have any of you guys experienced a Walker cutting uneven on a hill. I just purchased one 2 weeks ago and on a hill the low side always cuts lower. Is this typical of a walker

Not experienced with a Walker but it only makes sense that the low side would cut lower

I think most mowers will cut a little lower on the side of the deck that is hanging down hill. Some call it stepping.. I think. Less noticeable the higher you cut.

Ya my mowers all do it. All of the ones i have had did it really... the fixed deck models seem to not do it as much though.

My Snapper was doing this. I just started cutting diagonally up and down the hill and problem solved. It's a midmount, though.
