My boss has one with that engine, he says he never passes a gas station without stopping. I have one with the Duramax and get around 17mpg.

I got a 03 2500hd 4x4 ext cab. Most of my driving is short trips around town 5-10 miles. I average 10-11 miles an hour. I took a long trip with 130hi way miles with an average speed fo 75-80 i got 14mpg.

14 MPG makes me cry, I hate going to the pump and seeing $1.90 for unleaded gas. When will the high prices come down???

1.75 isnt bad compared to 2.16, but I can remember when unleaded was right at a dollar.
