Got new client after grandson steals her mower

This morning I was doing one of my small commercial accounts when the lady next door comes over and ask me to do her yard. Said her grandson who had been living with her had stolen and pawned her snapper rider and his sorry a$$ was in jail. Yard was nto big but was 2 feet tall and back yard full of dog crap, This is a heck of a way to get new accounts but Ill take anyway they come. While I was doing this yard I noticed older lady (at least 80) raking leaves in this 95 degree heat while to girls about 18-19 were sitting on porch watching her, both were dressed like hookers and had lots of tattoes. The lady then asked me if I could help her and I told her sure but wy dont you get your 2 grandkids to help. She looked at me and said SH---TTT they do do nothing but stay out all night and one goes with (The N racist word I do not like) All they want out of me is my car and a place to pass out when they come dragging in. Folks, what is wrong with the picture? I could see me watching my old granny rake leaves while I sit on my butt. Not in my time. This is our future adults here and it scares me!

The old lady's asking for it! If she did'nt want them there throw there lazy good for nothing azzes out, and if she needs help doing it the cops would help. People can't take advantage of you if you don't let them.

Exactly olderthandirt, but I did not want to tell her what to do.

People like her grandchildren are exceptions to the rule. There are many more good kids than ones like that.

I think Larry's on to something. You gotta remember that it's a lot easier to recall incidents like the one described above than the times when the kid IS out in the yard and Grandma is inside. You don't see Grandma so you have no idea grandkid is a good kid.

There have always been idiots in the world, and they draw all the ink. When's the last time you read an article in the paper about a man or woman who could have done something REALLY rotten, but passed and did the right thing. Never. Know why?

'Cause good people just don't care about the ink. They'd rather just sleep well, knowing they're doing their best every day to live like human beings.
