Stihl FS83 String Trimmer???

A dealer around here has a leftover Stihl FS83 trimmer and it looks nice. My buisness partner says that if he remembers correctly someone else manufactured the motors for these. Do any of you have any experience with them. Stihl is geting rid of the FS85 so I think now is the time to pick one up if you like them as much as we do.

The FS85 and FS83 are the same price at this dealer and he has both in stock.

Red Max built the motor on the FS 83, it is a good engine. I like the redmax products better myself.

I just bought a FS-80R back in July. I've been impressed with it so far. Runs great, and is stronger than my father's new Echo trimmer.
