What does it stand for (FPM)

I have searched this site and search engines. I want to know what FPM stands for. It is used in reference to blade tip speed, but what does it stand for??? F=? P=? M=?.

Feet per minute.

The formula is inches of blade length times 3.14 times RPM divided by 12.
