eXmark TTHP 48" price and performance check

What's up everyone, I am looking at a new eXmark 48" Turf tracer HP with the 17 horsepower Kawasaki. The price is 4800. is this a pretty decent deal. Also, for those that have this unit how does it do as far as striping and cut quality in tall grass, and are the deck pins a wear issue? I was going to buy a eXmark Viking fixed deck hydro 48", but I think the HP height adjustment function might be worth the extra dough, if the unit will hold up to the abuse.

I think that unit is a marginal striper without a kit of some kind. I know my LESCO does better.

bit the unit does a great job cutting even tall grass.

as for the deck height adjustments, it is quick and easy as long as the slip pins have a drop of oil from time to time.

unfortunately, with easy adjustments, now you are gonna be jacking the deck up and down all the time depending on where you are.

is the $4800 a new unit out the door including tax?

The mower is nice. Stripes decent but it has the help of a thin rubber flap under the engine deck. $4800 out the door is decent but you should be able to get it lower being that the season is over...

this striping thing really concerns me. I have a ten year old Viking that stripes pretty good. Will this thing match up with high lift foils on.
