Questionare and comment cards

This year I wanted to do a few more things to improve customer service and wanted your opinions on some ideas. I did a search on a questionare and it was somewhat informative but I want to go a little deeper. I am drawing up a questionare form that asks things like: If it's time to trim hedges may I go on and trim them or would you like to do them yourself? Whats the earliest and latest we can service your lawn? You all get the idea right? What are some other things you would like to ask your customers other than what day? I tell all my customers what day they fit in to my route and I will be there (weather permitting) I also made a comment card for at the end of the year that I would like to get your input on, if I can figure out how to post it. One more thing. My weed control specialist and I would like to have a seasonal newsletter to send to customers explaining the changes their yard is going through and what they can do to help us make there yard beautiful. For example: I'll bet the average home owner dosn't truly know the most effective way to water there lawn. We would like to give them little tips and info like that to help us help them. Sorry this is so long. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks

# 4 I would leave out, that just would be opening a can of spoiled worms...

All the rest sound good, mabey you might want to add a question where the customer can give opinions on concerns, problems they might have.
This will tell you a lot, and mabey give you a good chance to upsell more services, which is always good for the pocket.
