Grass Gobbler welding

My grass gobbler has seen better days, too much rubbing on concrete. How do I weld such brital and perferated metal. is it possible or buy a new one.

Mine has wore out about the same. I welded 1/8 flat stock over the areas where the previous welds broke and patched a hole in the side. I'm going to buy an Accelerator to replace the grassgobbler hopefully by leaf season.
